Choosing an Entertainer for your Corporate Event

Are you looking to book an entertainer for your next event? You’ve come to the right place. At Entertainment Unlimited, we’ve helped companies find and hire entertainers to enhance their corporate events. Whether your goal for an entertainer is to be motivational, informative, or celebratory, we’ve got you covered.

But first, a few tips to guarantee a successful event:

Share information.

The more intel you offer up, the better the entertainer will be able to gauge what you expect them to do. You’ll also need to give them information about the venue. Is there a stage? What about lighting? Sound? What is the demographic of the intended audience? Is the event to fundraise or spread awareness? To motivate employees? To celebrate a milestone or award? All of this is useful information to help the entertainer strike the right chord.

Understand the contract.

Entertainers should provide a contract. Read it. Ask questions. Know what is involved when you hire this professional at your corporate event. What happens if the entertainer is sick or has to cancel for some other last-minute reason? Do they have certain props they plan to use? Do they require special assistance? corporate events

Most entertainers like to be interactive with the audience, so you’ll need to find out from the venue if space allows easy access to the stage around tables, for example. What is the sound system quality at the venue? Will the entertainer have a prominent place so that all guests can see and hear them?

Be flexible.

Event planning is highly dynamic. You may have a plan, and if everything goes according to it, consider yourself one of the fortunate few. However, if you choose to hire an event planner, such as Entertainment Unlimited, you can offload all of that stress and gain a peace of mind. An experienced event planner will adapt and come up with creative problem solving when needed so you can focus on what really matters to you—your employees.

Seek an entertainer who is engaging.

The very best entertainers know how to engage their audience by incorporating jokes or information about your executives or products. They will want the humor to be relevant. This is why the more information you share upfront; about your organization, the people, and the history, the better.
