John, a Berklee School of Music Graduate, plays everything from up-beat straight ahead jazz to folky atmospheric renditions of pop songs of the day. John has toured the world with such acts as jazz virtuoso pianist Hiromi and Sonya Kitchell, recorded with the likes of John Mayer and Lauryn Hill, and composed / played all guitars on the hit comedy TV show “Louie” on FX written by comedian Louis CK. John continues to be an in demand studio guitarist from LA to NYC and tours the globe when not in Pittsburgh with his rock n roll trio the SHIFT who is currently working on their next album with producer and legendary co-creator of Woodstock, Artie Kornfeld.
