Resonance is a Caribbean/Jazz quintet. Their unique brand of internationally-inspired music blends the sounds of Trinidadian Calypso and Soca, African drumming, Brazilian Bossa Nova and Samba, Jamaican Reggae, and American Funk and Soul. Resonance has thrived in the music scene of southwestern PA, performing at the University of Pittsburgh, West Virginia University, Slippery Rock University, University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, the Clarion University Autumn Leaf Festival, the Community College of Allegheny County, and the Andy Warhol Museum. This year has been a particularly productive year for the ensemble, with notable touring performances at Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA, the Mid Ohio Valley Multi Cultural Festival in Parkersburg, WV, and at Potomac State College in Maryland.
